People Strategy
The People Strategy is the central aim of Herb Rubenstein Consulting. It is about growth, rebirth, renewal and rebuilding. We are dedicated to bringing together the expertise of individuals to enhance the collective learning and prosperity of all our members at every level of an organization.

Herb Rubenstein Consulting's most important people are our customers/clients. We treat them with care, sensitivity, strength and confidence. First we listen. Then we give advice. Then listen again. Herb Rubenstein Consulting personnel endeavor to understand the strengths and weaknesses of ourselves and our clients. We undertake appropriate training, counseling, learning and hard work to overcome our individual and collective weaknesses and promote that same level of commitment to our clients.

Innovation Strategy
The Innovation Strategy of Herb Rubenstein Consulting recognizes that innovation at the personal and organizational level requires that individuals and organizations experiment, be willing to "fail" and learn from the results of the new activity.

Innovation at the group, team, division, company or industry level (or above) requires something extraordinary, but doable. The innovator is required to possess the knowledge of the current state of the art in that field of endeavor. Innovation is more than doing something different from what has been done before. It is doing something with an understanding of what has not worked, what has worked and knowing why some efforts did not work and why some did. Clients must be forthcoming. This is their homework. We carefully draft and implement research instruments to seek out this information in a way that gives us clear insight into our client's decision making and implementation processes. We understand the "problem" to be solved from our client's point of view, not just from our own.

Innovation strategies play a key role in Herb Rubenstein Consulting's internal development as well as in the success of our clients. Critical elements of Herb Rubenstein Consulting's Innovation Strategy involves creating them, documenting them, organizing them, publishing them, teaching them, measuring the effects/results, and acknowledging others who produce them.

Knowledge Management Strategy
Herb Rubenstein Consulting's Knowledge Management Strategy is one that insists the consultants, employees and owners of Herb Rubenstein Consulting pool their knowledge for the benefit of Herb Rubenstein Consulting and our clients. Herb Rubenstein Consulting is more than a problem solving organization. Herb Rubenstein Consulting is in the information business, the people business, the success business, the strategy business and the "get it done" business.

We bring the latest knowledge to our clients of what works and what does not work given the circumstances. We accomplish this by pooling and selflessly sharing each Herb Rubenstein Consulting participant's information. This information is constantly being updated and organized into Herb Rubenstein Consulting's Knowledge Management System for use by our participants and clients.

Herb Rubenstein Consulting links the power of the individual to the strength of the organization.
