Washington,
DC -- Herb Rubenstein Consulting introduces its new book, Breakthrough
Inc. - High Growth Strategies for Entrepreneurial Organizations.
Using real MBA based analysis and business growth tools, the book
written for the general audience offers real world examples and
strategies to grow organizations, raise capital, revenues and profits
and improve productivity.
Authors Herb Rubenstein, President of
Herb Rubenstein Consulting, and Professor Tony Grundy, Cranfield School
of Management in England, combine forty years of business experience
on two continents to produce Breakthrough, Inc. using MicroStrategy
and the American Society for Training and Development as case studies.
"This book makes the radical assumption
that businesses, nonprofit organizations, and educational institutions
must be run in accordance with the same basic, fundamental laws
of commerce and use similar 'business' strategy tools," said Rubenstein.
"I only wish I had a copy of this book
as I was growing my first company five years ago," said Chris Heuer,
Chief, E-Business, United States Mint. "Whether you are an entrepreneur,
or work for a nonprofit, government agency or a division of a Fortune
100 enterprise, the essence of this book provides the education,
resources and tools of management you need in the new world of business."
Breakthrough, Inc. explores high
growth strategies for organic development or acquisitions; value
or cost management; international expansion or home market share
expansion. Breakthrough, Inc. discusses the following:
-
Organizational change
-
Significant, measurable, economic growth for the organization
-
High growth planning for the near and long term process
- Twelve
key business tools that will guide your organization to realize
faster and more sustainable growth.
"This book is a valuable handbook
of management methodologies, organized through the lens of strategic
growth, to be kept at your side as you're planning your business,"
says Barbara B. Lawton, Ph.D., VP Business & Quality Processes,
StorageTek Corporation.
In an age where more information is available
to more people than ever before, an organization's ability to develop
and implement business strategies will determine whether an organization
achieves and sustains high growth. Breakthrough, Inc. is
filled with case studies, exercises, action agenda and self-assessment
tools which can be used by individuals or groups to bring strategic
thinking to organizations of all sizes.
